The Heart Behind Our Mission
The Humble Beginning
2k cares started in 2016 right after batch 2000 of Sacred Heart School Ateneo de Cebu Alumni Association won its basketball championship in its alumni basketball league
As a way of thanksgiving, Batch 2000 held a basketball clinic to help the youth develop a keen interest in sports. The idea is that sports can be a saving tool from many negative forces like drugs, crimes, computer addiction and many others.
From there, 2kcares evolved and wanted to make a positive impact in education, livelihood, health and the environment as well.
The idea of 2k cares campaigns is to teach a man how to fish instead of just giving the man a fish. Thus 2kcares believes that there are better ways to create a positive impact than merely doleouts.
Our Vision
At 2k Cares, we envision a world where education, livelihoods, health, and the environment thrive through sustainable empowerment. Rooted in gratitude and driven by the desire to make a lasting impact, we believe in teaching skills rather than offering handouts. Through innovative campaigns and strategic partnerships, we aim to uplift communities and foster a brighter, more inclusive future for all

Our Mission
At 2k Cares, our mission is to empower individuals and communities to thrive through sustainable initiatives in education, livelihood, health, and the environment. Inspired by the proverb ‘Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime,’ we are committed to providing the tools, resources, and knowledge needed for long-term success. Through innovative programs, strategic partnerships, and grassroots efforts, we aim to equip people with the skills and opportunities necessary to create lasting positive change in their lives and communities. Together, we strive to build a future where everyone has the ability to flourish and contribute meaningfully to society.
